Communicating medical science: the pathway from discovery to mass media

Dr Chris Smith – the Naked Scientist – “Science stripped down to its bare essentials” – is presenting at this weeks grand round to talk about science communication.

Dr Smith is an internationally renowned science communicator by radio and podcast, who broadcasts in many countries, including in Australia on Radio National breakfast each week, and on Friday evenings. Dr Smith is visiting WA as part of “Science on the Swan” festival. In addition to his activities as a science communicator, he is a Medical Virologist at the University of  Cambridge, UK and Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
